A steady stream of cars from 8AM - 12noon donated three truckloads of e-waste to be recycled on Sat., Sept; 16. In addition to the 35,000lbs of electronics collected, people also generously donated $1,305.00 to Catholic Charities Parish Social Ministry! In the picture Kim Suttie and Fr. Dan are joined by Susan Snow, Steve Letourneau, and Bill Wood of Catholic Charities Maine in front of one of the many stacks of TVs dropped off that day.
If you had your photo taken for the Directory but did not order any additional pictures you can pick up your free 8x10 photo at the Parish Office. If you ordered additional pictures they will be mailed to you.
The Alfond Center for Youth has invited our parish to offer a faith formation class at the center on a weekday afternoon. Busses from all the area elementary schools drop off students to participate in various activities--one of which will be a faith formation class! Your child does not need to be enrolled in the Alfond Center programs to participate. If you are interested in this new opportunity to help your child grow in the faith please call the Parish Office, 872-2281.
Packets with all of the registration materials parents need to sign their children up for our programs have been mailed. If you did not receive a packet please call the Faith Formation Office, 660-9027, ASAP so one can be sent to you. Classes begin on Sun., Sept. 17.
